Expedition Everest

I just wanted to inform everyone on some effects on Expedition Everest that may or may not be working. It seem they are having some difficulties with some of the visual effects on this ride. Sometimes they occur and sometimes they don't. The effects I'm speaking of is there is no steam effect at the loading dock, the bird at the track end scene seems to be missing and the second water near the end of the mountain appears to have stopped working. Some are saying the reason for this is they are now running 5 trains so you shouldn't be surprised if you see lights and other things on that shouldn't be and some effects not working due to the laggy ride system. Radio Disney Going Mobile

It seems that nearly 40% of the tween market has a cell phone so the Disney empire has decided to get Radio Disney mobile. Listeners will be able to get updated information about Radio Disney. Children can listen to Radio Disney, see the last ten songs played, find local Radio Disney stations, send shout-outs, request a song, view Radio Disney's Top 30 and take polls. New Ride Coming To Disney Hollywood Studios?

Alright hot of the press. I'm hearing some rumors about a possible new ride being added to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Apparently, this new ride will be based on Monsters Inc. It will be a dark ride that will be based on the door scene from the movie. It also seems that the powers that be at Disney might be considering a new area at Disney Hollywood Studios dedicated to this ride. Of course everything is still in the concept stage and nothing has been finalized or given the green light yet. I for one find it interesting if this is really true because they have been working so hard on Toy Story Mania, I wouldn't think they would add two new rides so close to one another. Price Increase At Disney World

Don't worry the admission price has not been increased, at least not for now. But the price you will pay to rent a stroller from Disney has gone up. So the best bet is to lug your own stroller with you if you are planning on taking a young one with you. Yes it will be a little inconvenient but it will save you some money. If you are like me and love Disney movies, you better listen up. Disney has decided to announce a line up of upcoming animated features that will be out within the next four to five years. Wall-E story about what happens if everyone left Earth and one robot was left behind. This film is set to be released on July 18 in the United Kingdom. Bolt Tale of a dog who stars in a TV show and ends up on a cross-country journey when he realizes his on screen superpowers are not real. It is set to come out on February 13, 2009. Tinker Bell Straight to DVD release due out in October of this year. Up About an elderly man who gets a new lease on life and a chance to explore the world. Due out May 29, 2009. Toy Story 3-D This isn't the new movies just the first one being released in 3-D on October 2, 2009 The Princess And The Frog Disney goes back to their hand drawing roots for this tale which is due to come out February 19, 2010. Tinker Bell North of Never Land Straight to DVD sometime in 2009. Toy Story 2 3-D The classic Toy Story 2 gets released into 3-D February 12, 2009. Jungala Is Now Open At Busch Gardens

The long a waited Jungala is now open at Busch Gardens. I haven't been there yet myself but it looks like a lot of fun! The two rides that they have there look like they would be a blast. First is Jungle Flyers, where you soar through the air on a muilt-level zip line with three different flight patterns. The second ride is The Wild Surge, where you get shot straight out of the top of a waterfall and get dropped down 4 stories. This thrilling ride also gives you a great view of the jungle below. There are plenty of animals to see there as well including the always entertaining Orangutans at Orangutan Outpost. There is also the Tiger Trail where you can see these beautiful cats. You can also explore a mysterious cave, and walk through a bamboo path that leads you to a underwater viewing of tigers swimming in their pools. Lastly, you have Kulu Canopy. This canopy has several different species there including the white-cheeked gibbons, flying foxes, and the tomistomas-which is a rare crocodile from Indonesia and Malaysia. Jungala even offers an attraction called Tree-Top Trails which features climbing nets, bridges, crawl tubes and multi-level mazes. If you are looking for somewhere to cool off in the hot Florida sun you should try going to the children play area. It is equipped with surprising bursts of water coming from the ground. Note: the cost to get into Busch Gardens is $64.95 for an adult and $54.95 for a child. If you want to purchase a discounted ticket you need to buy your tickets online. An adult ticket online is $54.95 and a child ticket is $54.95 as well, please note that you have t purchase these tickets 7 days before you plan to visit. Here are the dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2008. November-10, 11, 14, 16, 20, 21, 30 December-2, 4, 5 ,7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19 Tickets go on sale May 1, 2008. Prices have not be released yet but last year adult tickets were $43.62 and children tickets were $32.97 for advance purchases. Closures For April 2008

Here's a list of all the rides and attractions that will be closed in the month of April. Disney's Hollywood Studios Journey into Narnia-is closed until summer of 2008 and will reopen as Prince Caspian Americal Film Institute Showcase and AFI Showcase shop-is closed April 1-May 1, 2008. The backlot Tour will remain open, guests will exit around the sie of the building instead of through the shop.
