The Best Time To Go To Disney World

I get this question a lot so I like to answer this question several times a year just to make sure everyone gets the answer to this. Disney has actaully come out with a Wonderful Weeks Of Disney list, basically it's a list of weeks when the parks are not as crowded or busy. I will admit I agree with most of the weeks but some are questionable. So if you are interested in planning a trip to Disney World in the up in coming year and want to know good week to go, listen up. Winter: 1/14/08-1/19/08 1/20/08-1/26/08 1/27/08-2/3/08 2/25/08-2/28/08 3/1/08-3/10/08 Spring 5/27/08-6/2/08 Summer: 8/12/08-8/31/08 I would disregard this time of the year. Some schools start back in August while a lot don't so the crowds are still pretty heavy. You should be ok after Labor Day crowds usually slow down after then. Fall: 9/30/08 10/1/08-10/6/08 10/21/08-10/31/08 11/1/08-11/3/08 11/11/08-11/07/08 12/9/08-12/22/08 I question Halloween day. I've been to Disney World on Halloween before and I thought it was fairly busy. Mickey Mouse To Call Your House On Christmas

I wrote a post about this a while ago, you can read it here. Disney has finally activated the website that goes along with this promotion, you can visit it here. After you have booked your vacation online you should be given the opportunity to choose your message either Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays and fill in your name, number and all that good stuff. Sea World Has Decided To Raise Their Prices

Earlier this summer Disney World and Universal Studios raised their one day adult ticket to $71.00. Sea World decided not to increase their ticket price for a one day ticket. Well looks like they changed their mind. They have raised their prices by $3.00. An adult one day ticket now cost $67.95 and a child one day ticket is $57.95. However, they are offering a special online, if you purchase your tickets at least 7 days in advance you pay $57.95 per ticket. Go to Seaworld.com for details. I thought I would do something a little different this week with the Disney trivia. Disney Wrapping Paper

I have been getting a lot of searches from Google for Disney wrapping paper, so I thought I would write another post about it. The best place hands down to get Disney wrapping paper is the dollar store. The dollar store near me has Disney Princess', Disney CARS, Winnie the Pooh, and Mickey and Friends wrapping paper for just a $1.00. You can't beat that. So I would suggest heading to your local dollar store and see what kind of selection they have. Disney Christmas Present Suggestions

I was out Christmas shopping today and I saw lots of Disney Christmas goodies your children might be interested in. First of all, Target has CARS pencils, little dry easer boards, little mini lunch boxes and stuff like that in their $1.00 bin this week. They also have the whole Disney Princess Pez set for $14.99. They even have cute Tinkerbell, Disney Princess and Enchanted little dress up kits that have nail polish, lip gloss, little tiaras, and other fun dress up stuff for $7.99. Also Bed Bath and Beyond has a Disney Princess Dress up Trunk, that cost $19.99, you maybe able to find it at Target or Wal Mart for cheaper. The trunk includes 4 costumes, headbands, cokers, earrings, rings and necklaces that fits sizes 4-6. Mickey's Very Merry Chirstmas Party

If you are going to be at Disney World at the end of November or any time in December I would grab a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This is a hard ticket event that you have to buy a separate ticket too. But it is well worth it, you are treated to such a magical night that only Disney can deliver. If you have a ticket to the party you can enter the park starting at 4:00pm, once your ticket is swiped you will be issued a wristband. The party gets started at 7:00pm when the magic snow falls on Main Street and ends at midnight. All through the night you are given the opportunity to experience many many Disney Christmas festivities. Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas Parade is at 8:15 and 10:30 pm Holiday Wishes (Fireworks) starts at 9:30pm Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas takes place in Tomorrowland's Galaxy Palace Theater at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:15. and 11:15pm. Wilderness Lodge Offering Holiday Sleigh Rides

The Wilderness Lodge is offering Sleigh rides again this year. The price will be $35.00. The sleigh can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under. The sleigh rides will only be offered December 1 thru December 30. The sleigh ride is 25 minutes long and the sleigh departs every 30 minutes starting from 5:30 t0 9:30 p.m. I would suggest putting this in your agenda if you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, which is a place I would recommend any family to stay. Just wanted to let everyone know if your child wants to meet Captain Jack Sparrow during the Pirate and Princess Party, you might want to show up there extra early. Last year the wait time was as long as 2 hours. Parents if your daughter loves Tinkerbell or the Disney Princess', you need to head to Wal-Mart. Universal Studios Earthquake Attraction Is Getting Replaced

I'm kind of bummed to hear this news, but I understand the need for newer rides because the park is very outdated. The new ride that is replacing Earthquake is Disaster! A Major Motion Picture Ride Starting YOU. There really hasn't been a lot released about this new attraction except it will include blockbuster celebrity talent, new ride elements, new digital technologies, interactive components and a new story line. Disney Pirate And Princess Party Highlights

As promised from yesterday here is a rundown of all the fun activities at the different lands at Magic Kingdom Adventureland-Captain Jack Sparrow leads a pirate tutorial giving young buccaneers sword fighting tips. Also Jasmine and the Genie will be available for photos and laughs. Fantasyland- Flounder and Sebastian kick things up with an "Under the Sea" dance party and a meet and greet with Ariel. Toontown-Court musicians and strolling jugglers hail princess Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora in the princess pavilion. While a pirate Mickey and Donald invite guests to step up and try carnivals games. Frontierland- Join the singing Riverboat Roulettes as they lure you to the haunted river boat where the ghost of Jolly Roger spins tales amidst magicians and much more. Tomorrowland- Guests can meet a space pirate and boogie down with Stitch's dance party and enjoy dancing break dancing pirates and much more entertainment. Disney has decided to do the whole Pirate and Princess Party thing again for 2008. The dates for party are: January 21, 26, 29 February 2, 5, 9, 14, 22, 26 March 1, 6, 11, 14 Tickets are on sale right now and if I were you I would go ahead and purchase them now. If you buy your tickets before December 15, 2007 you will get a $12 discount on adult tickets and a $10 discount on a child ticket. Non-discounted tickets for adults are $45.95 and $37.95 for a child. In case you have no idea what the Pirate and Princess Party is, here's a rundown. It's an after hour fun filled event that Magic Kingdom is throwing. So if your child has ever dreamed of being a pirate of princess this is the party to be at. Guests are given an adventure map and a special treasure pouch to help them embark on a fun filled quest for beads, chocolate doubloons, and many other treasures throughout Magic Kingdom. You also have a chance to meet your favorite Disney characters in a meet and greet and best of all you can ride some of Magic Kingdoms most popular attractions through the night.
