Disney Revamping California Adventure Park

I know this blog is mainly about Disney World and Orlando attractions, but non the less I thought this was interesting. The Walt Disney World Company has decided to do a major long over due overhaul to California Adventure theme park. Their plan is to add new attractions based on the highly popular Pixar movies. This overhaul has been speculated to cost somewhere in the billion dollar mark and will take several years to complete. Disney has decided to add 12 additional acres based on the Pixar movie CARS. They also plan to replace some of the less popular attractions with attractions based on The Little Mermaid and Toy Story. California Adventures has had poor attendance from the start, so this has been an ongoing problem for Disney. Hopefully this will be the solution to their problem.
