Disney Trip Planning Tips

There are a few things that every parent should take into consideration when planning a Disney trip. Here are a few:

1. Don't plan out a schedule for your trip. Keep in mind things you really want to do but don't keep to a schedule you'll never have fin that way.

2. Get it out of you head that you can do everything you want. Disney has 4 theme parks and tons of attractions at each. There is no way you can do everything in one trip. I've been to Disney so many times I've lost count and I still haven;t done everything.

3. Be sure to stop by your local dollar store and pick up some rain ponchos. You never know when a pop up storm will occur.

4. Make sure you use the fast Pass only on the popular rides or ones with the longest lines.

5. Make reservations to eat with the characters or any other restaurant you want to eat at, b/c chances are they will be booked if you just walk in.

6. Plan some,e activities outside of the parks. Downtown Disney is a great place to visit. Play some miniature golf or go to Ripley's Believe it Or Not.

7. Lastly, but not least, make sure our enjoy yourself, and treasure the memories you have made with your family or loved ones.

Pirates 3 Not The Last Pirates Movie?

This is both good news and bad news I suppose. A head honcho at Disney has revealed that the third Pirates film will conclude the trilogy, but it is unlikely that it will be the last sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Mark Zorad, president of the Disney Motion Picture Group said, "The eagerly awaited third movie may not be the last Pirates film. The third film will conclude the initial Pirates trilogy, though it is unlikely to be the last Pirates sequel."

Disney Rumors

It sounds like there is a new attraction in the works at Disney World called Monsters Inc, : The Laugh Floor. it's going to be a seated attractions seating 400. That's all I know for now. Also The Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney MGM Studios is going to be shut down for rehab from January 7- February 10, 2007. I'm assuming it's for regular maintenance on the ride.

Disney Wolrd Will Be Taking Fingerprints

Disney World is going to start scanning fingerprints of park-goers. Disney has installed a fingerprint scanner in all four of it's theme parks. The purpose of the fingerprint scanners is to stop the reselling of park tickets. They grantee the information will only be used to fight fraud and the scanners will not be hooked to any law enforcement databases. Disney says people pass their tickets to other family member or sell them to other tourist and they want to put a stop to that. The scanners will only scan the prominent ridges of your finger and convert the information into a series of numbers. They promise the information will be erased after the ticket is used. The scanner maybe in use as early as next month.
