Man Fitghting To Get Scene Removed From CARS

Lanny Wilson has started a battle with Disney to try and get the scene removed in Disney's CARS when Lightning tries to out run a train and cross the tracks. Fortunately Lighten makes it and does not collide with the train. Well Lanny Wilson's daughter was killed, when his son decided to do this very thing and unfortunately, he didn't make it and it resulted in the death of his sister. Disney released a statement saying, "Lightning McQueen's poor judgment in outrunning the train reveals his reckless and thoughtless behavior and is certainly not glorified." Disney has not said if they are considering editing the scene from the movie or not.

Toy Story 3

I had mentioned months ago that Disney is making a 3rd installment of the Toy Story movies. Tim Allen was quoted saying, "Toy Story 3 is moving right along and it's going to be great" He also says, it's"stronger" than the other two movies. Just in case you forgot the plot of Toy Story 3 is supposedly, a recall has been issued on all the Buzz Lightyears and Buzz gets shipped back to Taiwan. I'm assuming that Woody and the gang some how manage to make their way to Taiwan and help bring Buzz home in one piece.

Keep An Eye Out For Captain jack Sparrow

Just a little FYI if you are at Disney's Magic Kingdom this summer keep an eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. My cousin went there last weekend and told me there is an actor dressed up as him outside of the ride.

Now lets pause for a commercial break. If you are looking to have some type of liposuction done, have you concerned los angeles liposuction? Dr. Lloyd Krieger (Rodeodriveplasticsurgery.com) is a place to start, he is actually located on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. The goal at Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery is to provide exceptional plastic surgery care, safely, professionally and at a reasonable price. Some of the services they provide are breast implants, tummy tucks, Nose Reshaping, Rhinoplasty, and Eyelid surgery to name a few. They even provided non-surgerical producers like Botex, Restylane and Laser. They have even been featured on the KTLA Morning News and in the Los Angeles Daily News.

The Haunted Mansion and MGM Studios Get Some Changes

There have been some rumors that The Haunted Mansion will be getting some refurbishments to the entrance and a spooky crypt like gift shop maybe added to the exit of the ride. These maybe just be rumors but, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Also Disney MGM Studios might be changing it's name to Disney Pixar Studios. This would make sense, since Disney bought Pixar. But if this happens, The Chinese Theater might have to be torn down.

In other news, have you ever thought about options trading ? did you know if you purchase shares of high dividend it's a great way to increase your profits by 5 % to 10%. It's amazing at how much money is left "on the table" Hundreds or maybe thousands of shares of stocks sit in investor's portfolios. And in reality those shares could be a stack of money in their bank account. To find out more about this visit Powerpot.com.

New Mickey Mouse Ears

There is usually one thing that every kid wants when they go to Disney World for the first time and that's Mickey Mouse Ears. Well Walt Disney World thought that the traditional black ears needed a face lift. So they came out with new themed mouse ears for the summer. They have pink ones, jeweled princess crowns, or a cheetah print. For the boys, they have pirate scarves and hoop earrings, plus Stitch themed ones as well as many others. There's also a gold sequined and patriotic themed one. And the still have the bride and groom one. Of course they still offer the traditional black ears as well.

The reason they decided to come up with these is because last year they had created a special golden Mickey Mouse ears for the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" And they had a huge success with that.

You can pick up these new ears at several location throughout Disney World and they start at $8.

Disney Visa

I'm sure a lot of you are aware Visa offers a Disney credit card. There are some benefits to this credit card like there are with most. But these are a little more desirable if you are a Disney fan. Basically, Disney Dream Reward Dollars are awarded at 1% of purchases. So that means every $100 you charge onto your card you earn $1 in Disney Dollars. Like most reward programs on credit cards your monthly statement will let you know how much you have. When you are ready to redeem your Disney Dollars you simply call the number that is indicated on your statement and they send you a charge type card with your points on it. You then can use this card at The Disney Store, or on Park Tickets or anywhere at any of the Disney parks and resorts.

Also from time to time you will get special offers from Disney like 20% of a purchase at the Disney Store, a low rate at one of the Disney value resorts, special video offers, exclusive pins and other Disney collectibles.

It seems like in today's society it is a necessity to have a credit it card. You can't make a hotel reservation or rent a car without one. Of course the most popular credit cards are Visa and Master card. Bixjournal.com offers low apr's, 0% intro rate and many other reward programs.

Remake Of Adventrures In Babysitting

I'm sure a lot of you parents out there are familiar with this movie. it was a cult hit back in the 80's. It followed a high school senoir played by Elizabeth Shue, who got stuck babysitting a bunch of kids. The night seemed very dull until she gets a call from her friend downtown who needs a ride. That's when the real adventure starts. Well Walt Disney Pictures is planning on remaking the movie staring their own Raven Symone. No word on when the movie will be out.

Now, we pause for a commercial break. I'm sure a lot of you have never heard of Nancy Burpee, she is a paralympic swimmer. She was disqualified from the Olympics because a judge felt if she moved on then the swimmer from his team would not have a chance. So Nancy enlisted the help of simmons jannace & stagg to represent her. They accepted and decided to do her case pro-bono. Despite all their efforts the judge did not rule in their favor, saying there was not enough evidence. Nancy continues to swim and compete to this day.

Universal Studios Sweet 16

Ok, we all know that Universal Studios is older than 16, but this year is going to be the 16th year they have done Halloween Horror Nights. Jim Timon the senior vice president entertainment for Universal Studios claims. This will be the most chilling event in Halloween Horror Nights history. It will feature new haunted houses, more intense scare zones, specialty themed shows and hundreds of gruesome "scare actors" Jim also adds that "Each year, we take our Halloween Horror Nights event to the edge and make it more and more intense. This year, our "scream team" of designers has created a twisted "Sweet 16" celebration that will not be for the faint of heart."

For tickets you can visit Halloween Horror Nights. If you want to go on the weekend it's recommended to get these tickets as soon as possible because the weekends sell out really fast.

One Quick Tip For The Day

Being down in Orlando at Disney World in the summer time, it can get pretty darn hot. Well if you are looking to seek some cover from the hot blistering Florida sun. I would suggest going to The Hall of The Presidents at Magic Kingdom. It is air conditioned and there is rarely a line. Also the show that is put on is pretty informative. Another benefit of this is you get to sit down and take a load off your feet.

Hate Standing In Line

I think we all can agree one of the worst things about going to Disney or anything park for that matter is standing in line. Well unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done about the lines unless you are a celebrity or have special needs. But there is something that will help limit the time you stand in line. Disney World offers what's called a FASTPASS. What the FASTPASS is, is kind of like reserving a place for you in line. You go to the FASTPASS machine that is located usually to the right of the entrance to all the rides. You put you park admission ticket in it. Then it pops out a ticket that has a time on it. You then come back to whatever ride you have gotten the FASTPASS for and you get in a special line. But be forewarned that you will have to stand in line. for 15 to 20 minutes before getting on the ride, but that's better than 60 to 90 if you didn't have the FASTPASS.

There are some restrictions of the FASTPASS. Like you can only receive one. After you have ridden that ride you got the FASTPASS for then you are able to get another one. I would suggest getting FASTPASSES for the more popular rides like, Rockin Roller Coast, Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion. Peter Pan's Flight, Splash and Space Mountain. But always check the wait time on the rides before getting a FASTPASS. Because if the wait time isn't too long you might as well wait in line and use your FASTPASS on something else.

Disney's The Little Mermaid

If you are like me you probably love this Disney classic movie. Well Disney is releasing it on DVD and if you head over to DisneyOutlet.Com you can preorder it. If you do it before October 2, 2006 you can also get a set of four lithographs. And an extra bonus, you can get a Sebastian and Flounder miniature plush dolls and a collector pin. It's only $19.99 for just the DVD and the lithographs. If you want the plush dolls and the collector pin it is $29.99. Which I think they are both great deals.

Live In Disney's Backyard

Well you can't actually live in Disney World's backyard but if you lived in Orlando I guess you could consider it your backyard. I'm sure by now everyone knows I go to Orlando quit often and I really consider it my second home. I love the atmosphere of the city, I love the weather. There is always something to do there. Plus you have seven theme parks at your finger tips and not to mention the great shopping.

So the next time you join the 43.3 million people that visit Orlando each year why not add to the 1,500,000 people that live in Metro Orlando and become a resident. If you don't want to move there full time why not look into getting an Orlando Vacation Home . I know I love having mine. Just think in the winter or fall you could pop down there and not worry about making a reservation or any of the other hassles you have to deal with when planning a trip. MoreMouse.Com is a great place to start your search.

A little Something For The Kids

If you are looking for activity table and folding chairs for your children, checkout Walmart.com. Yesterday I found a Disney CARS and Princess' one for $27.63. This is a really good deal. It will spice up your children's room or play area with their favorite Disney character. Or if you are having a family gathering why not seat your kids at a cool kids table.

But if you parents are looking for folding chairs for yourself check out BestFurnitureOnline.Com. They strive on great pricing and outstanding customer service. It's kind of interesting to see how furniture trends have changed from over the years. The 20th century saw an increasing in all metal folding chairs, as well as metal legged chairs. Of course we all remember the 60's when bean bag chairs and butterfly chairs were the thing. So if you are in the market for folding chairs check out their website.

Disney's Epcot

I will be honest with everyone the last time I went to Epcot I was 3 years old. I don't remember it very much. But I know the next time I go to Disney World I'm going to make it a point to go to Epcot. There are some many great things to see at Epcot, now that I'm older I think I will be able to appreciate it more.

One thing that Epcot has that the other parks don't is more flowers and topiaries all over the park. Epcot host's The Flower and Garden Festival every year. So they have beautiful gardens and flowers everywhere. The second cool thing about Epcot is you get to go around to the different counties and experience them without really going there. What I think is really cool about all the counties is Disney made it a point to make sure you felt like you are really in that country. Of course Epcot has some thrill rides for everyone like, Test Track, Mission Space, and Soarin'. But I'm still most impressed with all the pretty pictures I see of Epcot and it's surroundings.

Unfortunately, you can't take the beautiful flowers you see at Epcot home with you but I know of a website DotFlowers.Com that might be able to help with that. They have gorgeous and inexpensive flowers likes, Lilies, Orchids, Daises, Dahlias, and Chrysanthemums. These summer flowers are usually associated with weddings because of their warmth and grace. But they would look just lovely in your home and remind you of the flowers you saw at Disney's Epcot.

Disney Vacation Tips

With it being summer time, I'm sure a lot of people are heading down to The Happiest place on Earth. Well I have a few tips for you that might make your trip a little more enjoyable. The number one tip I have is make sure you have your car insurance covered and your card with you, if you plan on driving. Never leave you car unlocked while in Orlando. And no matter how hot it gets don't leave your windows cracked. And try to hide any souvenirs in the truck so it won't entice anyone to want to break into your car. If you are interested in new automotive insurance check out CarInsurance.Com for some inexpensive plans.

Ok now that we got the car out of the way, let's talk about you and your family. One thing I would highly suggest is try to plan your trip out. There is so much to do and see at Disney World it is very easy to get off track. Oh and please purchase a hopper pass and a more than one day pass. There is no way you can visit all four parks in one day. Be sure you pack shoes that have been broken in, the last thing you want is to get some blisters from some new shoes.

Also try to plan your budget. Things at Walt Disney World are lot more expensive than they would be any where else. My suggestion on saving some money on food is, simply back some lunch or snacks in a backpack and sit down at one of the covered tables and eat. Or if you want to get out of the sun. Get your hand stamped as you are leaving the park and go have lunch off the Disney property. You will save yourself a lot of money that way.

Another vacation tip I have is try to stay on the Disney Property. I know you are probably thinking it would be much more expensive. But you can find really good rates almost all year round if you look hard enough. The Disney value Resorts are always reasonable. Right now you can get a room for $99 a night.. The plus side about staying on the property is you get to take advantage of the extra magic hours. You have transportation to and from the parks, as well as Down Town Disney. You also have the great service of having your shopping bags delivered to your room so you don't have to carry them around while you are shopping.

A really great tip that your small children will thank you for is. If they want to eat with a character make the reservation well in advance so you know you have secured a spot for you and your child. Also be aware that you are in the Sun Shine State and they call it that for a reason. Make sure you have covered you and your children in sunscreen. You don't want a sunburn to ruin your vacation. Also when you first enter the park be sure to pick up a map. That map not only tells you where things are located but it also gives show times for parades and everything else. Make sure you get to the parade spot a good 20 to 30 minutes before the parade starts if you want a good spot.

Oh one last thing that I forgot. If you are planning on towing your boat or some kind of water craft down to Orlando with you please make sure your hitches and towing accessories are fit for the trip. A great inexpensive place to find hitches as well as truck racks and any other accessory you could think of for your truck, van or SUV is BuyAutoTruckAccessories.Com. If you spend $100 shipping is free.

Johnny Depp In Orlando

It's no secret by now that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest opens in theaters today. Well the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World reopened today as well. Johnny Depp is down in Orlando right now promoting the movie. I heard he is staying at one of the Disney hotels. So keep you eyes peeled if you are headed down to Orlando this weekend.. You just might run into Captain Jack Sparrow himself.

Going On A Disney Cruise

If you are lucky enough to be going on any of the Disney Cruises this summer you are in for a real treat. A Pirate ship called "The Flying Dutchman" is anchored at Disney's private island called Castaway Cove. This 175 foot long ghost ship was created for The Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. The Flying Dutchman will provided the guests with a great photo backdrop. And for those guests who rent a boat or jet ski they can get an up close and personal look at the ghost ship. I don't think you are allowed to bored the ship though.

Children With Food Allergies

Some people may not even think twice about something like this, but there are a lot of children out there that are severely allergic to some type of food or ingredient. Well great news for those children and their parents. If you are headed to The Happiest Place on Earth, there is no need to worry about this, Disney has you covered.

In 1993 Disney came up with the special diet program. Joel Schaefer, the manager of special diets department works with chef at hundreds of the Disney food locations. These location provide alternative ingredients that can be used to make allergy-free meals. They can make soy ice cream, or even a special batter for the Mickey Mouse shaped waffles, or kids favorite French fries.

When you are making reservations at these restaurants they will ask if you have any special dietary needs. Once you are at any of the sit down restaurants at Disney the chef will more than likely come out and speak with you about your needs and ask question to ensure your child is getting what they need.

The best part Disney does not add a service fee for making these dishes especially for you.

Disney Closing Who Wants To Be A Millionarie

I'm not sure how many of you know that at Disney MGM Studios there is a "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" game there. It is set up just like the one that was on TV. Well Disney has decided to close this attraction. The game will be played for the last time on August 19, 2006.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, is going to be replaced with a new indoor ride. Now word yet on what that right will be. But a Bob Frazier, a Disney employee said it was described to him as a cross between Universal Studios Men in Black and Disneyland's Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Fireworks At Disney World

Since The fourth of July is tomorrow and I'm sure everyone is going to be watching fireworks even if you are not at Disney World. I thought I would give some insight on some good places to be when watching fireworks at Disney World.

I remember this place like it was yesterday but it was 20 years ago. It was the first time I went to Walt Disney World and I was on the Dumbo ride with my sister. The next thing I know fireworks were being set off and at this young age fireworks scared the dickens out of me. So the Dumbo ride is a perfect place to be when they are setting off fireworks. Another good place at Magic Kingdom is right in front of Splash Mountain, or if you are in Tomororwland I would stay on the bridge you get a great view from there.

If you are at Disney MGM Studios I would get right in front of the huge Sorcery's Hat. It will more than likely be crowded. But have a sit on the ground and you will have a perfect view. The good thing about fireworks is you have to look up and right straight ahead so if these places are crowded you don't have to worry.

Now for Epcot, I have never personally seen the fireworks at Epcot but this is what I've heard from others. Stand on the bridge by Mexico.Or in Germany, or Japan bear the Tori Gate. Also if you don't like crowds too much Epcot would probably be your best bet. People have said that it's not as crowded there .

Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy the fireworks at Disney World they are truly breath taking.

Sadly a Boy Dies After Ridng Rockin Roller Coaster

I'm sure a lot of you have heard that a 12 year old boy died earlier this week after riding The Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney MGM Studios. Disney shut down the roller coaster to do a full inspection and found that nothing was wrong with the coaster, it reopened yesterday.

An autopsy was performed on Michael Russell, the examiner said, "No evidence of injury was found but congenital heart abnormalities were detected, which will be further evaluated." Unfortunately, the family was not aware that Michael had this condition because his father told Orange County Sheriff's Office that his son was healthily.

Some may wonder why it's a big deal for people with heart diseases or defects not to ride roller coaters. Well a test was done and it showed that when riding a roller coaster you average heart rate is 89 beats per minutes before the ride and 155 beats per minutes after riding a roller coaster. This research indicated that this rates are high enough to trigger rhythm problems. So it is highly recommened that people with heart disease or defects not to ride roller coasters. That's why there are signed plastered all over the place that say if you are pregnant, have neck and back problems or heart problems do not get on the roller coaster.

The Rocking Roller Coaster at MGM Studios is the second fastest roller coaster at Disney World, it goes form 0 to 60 Miles Per Hour in 2.8 seconds. The ride is more than a half mile and has sudden dips, loops, twists and turns. Which could certainly aggravate on heart condition.

Unfortunately, 3 people have died in the past 13 months after riding a ride at Disney World. A women died in April of bleeding of the brain that was connected with high blood pressure, and 4 year old boy collapsed on a ride, an autopsy was performed and they found out he had a rare heart condition.

My sympathy goes out to all these families. So please if you know anyone or even suspect that someone may have a heart condition, urge them not to get on a roller coaster.
